Pits Atlas: Lalande 12
Impact Melt pit: Lalande | |
---|---|
Name | Lalande 12 |
Lat. | -4.4275 |
Long. | 351.4436 |
Desc. | Irregular pit. "Funnel" is odd- it looks like there is an outer rim with vertical walls, in addition to the normal inner pit. On the east edge of a ~150x100m rough area (probably slightly raised, possibly a fracture field- no stereo and lack of low-Sun images make it hard to classify). There is a pair of shallow pits ~250m SE, and a complex set of fractures ~150m SW. |

Data Warning | All depths might be minimums. Floor is only unambiguously visible in M109290998L, but incidence (~3 degrees) is approximately the same as emission (~2 degrees). Stereo is accidental and probably only works for manual viewing. |
