Impact Melt, Fracture pit: Messier A | |

Name | Messier A 4a |
Lat. | -2.044 |
Long. | 46.8825 |
Desc. | Elongated pit, clearly associated with a fracture system that covers most of a square kilometer, but is not itself attached to a fracture. There's a slight depression running south, where it joins up with some open fractures. There are a couple of other fracture-associate pits in the area of similar depth and lack of open fractures connected to them. Definitely a possibility for sub-surface passageways, if you don't mind falling rocks. |
